This is a preliminary study on the commands that are applicable to the believer today in the NT. This is just a listing of the commands from the NET Bible. Each imperative in the NT is categorized by type and parsed according to tense and nuance. The five main types of imperatives are identified in every verse and the special meaning is added in brackets.

The most strategic epistle in the NT is the Book of Romans where the clearest and most comprehensive explanation of the gospel and the principles of the Christian life. No Book in the NT is more important to understand thoroughly than is the Book of Romans.
