Liberty University's commitment to reach the world for Christ encompasses much more than short term mission trips. It is our desire that every future missionary who leaves LU is thoroughly trained for the challenges that will face them overseas.

Inter-Cultural Studies Classes (ICST)
The ICST classes at Liberty University are designed and taught by veteran missionaries with decades of experience in their respective fields. Through classroom teaching, hands on missionary experiences, and amazing field trips, our ICST track trains students to be champions on the mission field.

ICST Degree
Liberty University offers a Bachelor of Science Major in Inter-Cultural Studies that brings all of the elements of Bible training, mission research and analysis, as well as a practical hands-on internship program which can be up to a year overseas. Through specialized courses, mentoring, and unique training experiences, LU missionaries are prepared for a lifetime of ministry.

ICST Degree Completion Plan
The program is designed to be flexible and adapting to the specific burden or vision of the missionary in preparation as to the area of the world and type of ministry that God has placed on his/her heart.
